The rules that apply when you buy from High-End Wear. Plain wording, no traps.

Who you are buying from

High-End Wear, trading from 190 Hillside Pl, Jackson, CA 95642, United States. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

Orders and sizes

An order is an offer to buy. The contract starts when we send a shipping confirmation. Each product is sold as a single item and you tell us your size in the order notes. We will not ship until we have a size, and we will contact you if the size you asked for is not available. Until we ship we can decline an order and refund you in full.

Prices

Prices are in United States dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where we are required to collect it, and shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. We can change prices at any time but never after you have ordered. If a price is obviously wrong, such as a suit listed at three dollars, we can cancel and refund rather than honour it.

Descriptions and colour

We describe every piece accurately, with its cloth and construction. Screens show colour differently, and natural fibres such as wool, linen and cashmere vary slightly from one bolt of cloth to the next. Treat the photographs as a close guide rather than an exact match.

Care

Follow the care label. Tailoring and cashmere should be dry cleaned or hand washed as the label says. We are not liable for damage from washing, drying or ironing against the care instructions.

Exchanges, returns and faults

Our liability

If we get something wrong we put it right by exchanging, repairing, replacing or refunding the item. Beyond that our liability is limited to what you paid for the order, and we are not liable for indirect losses, such as an event missed because of a carrier delay. Nothing here removes rights you have under United States or California consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement.

Using the site

The text, photographs, logo and layout belong to High-End Wear or are used with permission. Do not copy them for another business, scrape the site in bulk or interfere with how it runs.

Accounts

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has got in and we will lock it.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by things we cannot control, including severe weather, wildfire road closures, carrier strikes and acts of government. If a delay runs past thirty days you can cancel the affected part of the order for a full refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us goes to the courts of Amador County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it.
