High-End Wear is a small menswear business in Jackson, California. We sell tailoring, formal wear, shirts, knitwear, shoes and accessories chosen to be worn for years rather than a season.
Why we started
Good menswear has become strangely hard to buy. At one end are suits with glued jackets that lose their shape by the second wedding. At the other are shops that charge four figures and act as if you should be grateful to be let in. We wanted the middle: proper cloth, proper construction, fair prices and people who answer the phone.
What we sell

- Dinner jackets, evening shirts and everything black tie needs
- Dress shirts, oxfords, polos and linen shirts
- Merino and cashmere knitwear, and overcoats
- Goodyear welted shoes and suede boots
- Silk ties, pocket squares, cufflinks, belts, gloves and scarves
What we care about
Our suit jackets are half canvas, stitched rather than glued in the chest, so they mould to you over time. Our oxfords and derbies are Goodyear welted so a cobbler can resole them. Our cashmere is two ply and our silk ties are hand finished. None of it carries a logo. We think the clothes should do the talking, and quietly.
Getting the fit right
Every piece is listed with the sizes it comes in. You write your size in the order notes at checkout, and if you are not sure, you send us your measurements and we tell you which to order. If it still does not fit, we exchange it and cover the postage.
